Some college course content also increases the general courses in science and arts streams. This newly introduced course - add on courses or undergraduate courses.
Maitreyi College consulted President APJ Kalam on nanotechnology courses. Principal Dr. HT pequeva. Mohan Datta said, "We tried to make the program interesting new study, students are also friendly and informative." This school will introduce two courses of food technology and web design.
This is a self-financing courses and they are five months old. The UGC had given them Rs 4 lakh to buy equipment. Similarly, Laxmibai College courses ready to offer designing clothes. Miranda House and Mata Sundari College has introduced a course in Basic Education.
Other interesting courses include BSc (Hons) Geology at Ram Lal Anand (morning); BA (Hons) Mathematics at DR College; a certificate course in Hindi journalism at Zakir Hussain College. www.hindustantimes.com
