Photographer Gwen "Sunny" Krieg called works of photography through the lens of the camera's view into her life briefly.
"Life is a journey and the special and unique for each of us," said Krieg. "Through my images, I share my feelings on this journey. Feel the wind in my face, cold sea spray and become one with the elements."
St. Cloud resident was born in Connecticut and lived for years in Ohio and Pennsylvania before moving to St. Cloud in 1998.
Krieg, 52, has been doing photography, along with graphic arts, for 12 years. East Springfield, Pa., he and his partners owned Springfield Gallery, photography and video studio in 200 years of Victorian houses. They specialize in wedding photography and portraits.
Krieg, who studied at New York Institute of Photography, also worked as chief artist for a silk screening company.
Many of the photographs showing the scene he had seen during the trip across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
"I caught the special places that I felt was unique," he said.
More pictures can be viewed at Gallery One artists studio in Kissimmee.
"There's really fantastic group of people there. I hope to be part of this organization for a long time," said Krieg.
Krieg-art graphics, including special marks and embroidery designs.
Her interest in travel began as a child when he read a National Geographic magazine.
"I just like to see exotic places imagined and dreamed of one day visiting these places," he said. "The pictures were inspired and so large that you can involve yourself in it. I've always been a dreamer, but the pictures told me that there is more life. I came into camp as a cheap way to see the world and also into photography so I can capture everything I see and share. "
One of the favorite adventure Krieg occurred in the mid-1990s when he spent 18 days in Alaska.
"The trip was centered around the longest day of the year, so there is little tad dusk. It is the most beautiful time to take photos," he said.
Another time, he went to Oregon to take photos along the Columbia River Gorge.
"There is a beautiful waterfall hidden in coves, some of the road and some you have to climb to," he said. "And in the sea, beach Canon big stones... Rising from the sea, and when there is a tidal underwater world with all types of marine life and starfish every imaginable color. I never knew that starfish comes in colors purple.
