Equipment needed: a battery-operated screwdriver, screwdriver bits (Phillips and standard), hex head driver, tape measure, and scissors. Although no special equipment is usually required when installing window treatments, it is recommended that you use a battery operated screwdriver or drill to make the job easier. First, for your care package carefully and do NOT use a razor or knife to open boxes. Very easy to cut the rope or blind by doing this. Be careful when out of the treatment was delivered in a box, some more subtle treatment than others. Remove all packaging used in shipping, once again being careful to do so. Place in the window treatment that will be installed; it helps if there are several treatments for different windows are not to make them mixed up. Then put all the mounting hardware on the window treatments that are having them installed on. Make sure you have the right tools for the job, as screws and hardware will vary.
Horizontals: Install brackets making sure you use the right bracket for the right side (some have the brackets left and right, and some do not). Bracket Once installed, open the brackets by lifting the door bracket. Place the blind in the brackets and close the doors, make sure both sides are safely closed. If the blind has a mosquito net curtains in the rail head of the clip before putting the blind in parentheses. Attach a mosquito net for blind headrail. Lower blind using the lift cord, and then rotate the blind in two directions to ensure that it operates correctly.
Shades: Install shade brackets. Snap shade into place. (Because shades and brackets vary, see the installation instructions provided with the color). Reduce shade by pulling the shade lift cord. This is usually done by pulling the shade lift cord to the left to release, and to the right to lock it.
Vertical: For mounting in the net vertical mount first. (Some valances may require trimming first). Mount brackets under a mosquito net in the proper position to allow the rib to move without disturbing the bed nets. Snap track into place. Hang blades and make sure they all snap securely in place. Attach the tension pulley rope to the wall and adjust the voltage so secure but not tight.
To mount on the outside vertical: Measure to where you measured for the bracket to be, and making a mark. Using the top screw hole of the bracket, tighten the screws on the top of the hole where you made the sign. Other places in the bottom of the screw hole. Center track over window and snap it into place, ensuring that it is safe. Attach the rib cage, making sure that everyone is properly installed. Brackets break head to the rail bed nets if they do not have it built into the brackets. Center netting above the vertical line and place the holder into the netting. (Some valances may require a little tap with the heel of the hand to secure). Mount the tension pulley to the wall and adjust the voltage so secure but not tight. Pulled the curtain back and forth, and rotate them to ensure that they function properly.
