Home Interior Design: What style are you?

We think our home as our refuge from the outside world. What better place to create a comfortable, self-expressive function of habitat the way we want.

Your interior design style is the result of who you are. Furthermore, if we are also entertaining, the home we make a definitive statement about how we want to be seen. Some common types of formal interior design style, casual, slim, and eclectic. A formal style will include things like antiques or reproduction period furniture. Or maybe a high-style furniture with contemporary accessories with a lot of symmetry. Casual style will be relaxed, non-fussy look, a color display is simple and perhaps a strange nature. A sleek style will look sophisticated and contemporary possible to use neutral colors, accented with brights efficient use. Them with an eclectic style may be rebelling against the rules, but using all kinds of cohesive force to create the display.

Style includes everything that can define individuality or character in a living room. Things like private collections, accessories, and memorabilia may be as important as the furniture, floor coverings, and window treatments in your home. What is important about how to develop the style is "identity". All of us have been through the stages in our lives that dictate the style, and eventually led to the evolution of this stage in style. When we were young, budget constraints can often lead to a sacrifice in style. Impulsive we can buy the pieces that do not work together or stand the test of time. As the progress of life, family life may require the need for high durability. Combining forces with other family members often creates significant challenges and compromises.

A good designer careful to listen to you, observe your personality and tastes and helps you set the "look" that reflects you! Personally, I like to tour my clients' homes with their first visit, and listen to what they like and dislike about the existing environment. As we walked past their house, the client can relax explain their goals and the changes they wish to make. A very personal statement made by the appearance of one of the houses, and a good designer can help you put your stamp on the trip without leaving visible costly mistakes to be made.

An Interior Designer will have a lot of resources that integrate the fabric, paint treatments, furniture (both cloth and case goods), floor coverings, wall coverings, lighting and accessories to distinguish your home as your own.

Sometimes the style is determined by the house itself-the architecture, historical periods have been built, or the period of architectural history is to imitate the house. Some people are primarily devoted to the preservation of their historic homes, follow the rules that reflect the appropriate style. Perhaps the reason that the choice was made to buy a house. A love of history can dictate the style. A word of caution is to remember you live in a house, not a museum. And many times the unexpected, surprise This feature can be used to form the personality of a room, and adding the appropriate elements unique to your home. As long as the room comes together in a cohesive way, that is done, scale, texture, or color is repeated throughout the room, parts or accessories can be uniquely refreshing.

Designers are often asked what style they like, or how can a designer be a "good" a lot of style. I responded by stating that good design can be expressed in many ways because there are people with houses to decorate. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than helping clients put together their looks. Design elements remain the same color scale, line, texture, rhythm, etc. How these elements are expressed creative and different each time.
